How this piece came to be:
Once upon a time there was a vintage Hitachi Magic Wand "back massager" who started to spark after 12 loyal years of "back massaging." When that object retired, the owner gave me permission to make a plaster mold of her beloved Hitachi. Once the mold was made, it was then filled with liquid porcelain to create a new version of its ancestor. This piece is now transcending its original purpose and continuing to give pleasure in a different way!
